RESULTS – PINK PAPER AWARDS 2010

PinkPaper.com is pleased to announce that voting has closed for this year’s Readers’ Awards and the winners can now be revealed.

Thousands of votes have been cast across fifty-five comprehensive categories over the duration of the past month, with substantially more votes submitted than in 2009, despite the Pink Paper no longer being published in print.

The annual awards are the largest gay awards in the UK and aim to establish the very best and worst of the last year.

The winners included Lady Gaga who took three awards for Best Single, Best Album and Music Performer of the Year, with Apple winning Company of the Year and Top Brand, plus David Tennant and Julie Walters voted as Best Actor and Actress respectively. Contrastingly, the Pope was named as Villain of the Year, with Jan Moir running a close second place.

Please find a complete list below, with the five top results for each category ranked in descending order.

Editor in Chief, Tris Reid-Smith says:

“Our readers have voted in record numbers making this year the most competitive ever and maintaining our position as the biggest, best and most democratic awards in gay Britain. To get all that support our winners are clearly pretty special and, remember, all the runners up have already come through a first round of voting so they are among the best too. Big congratulations to everyone and a big thank you for voting."
