GT Magazine (Gay Times) unveiled a complete re-design and new look, which was showcased for the first time at a star-studded party in central London.

Darren Scott, GT’s Editor, explains: “GT hit the big 3-0 last year and we decided it was time for a new look to mark the occasion. The magazine is still full of everything our readers love as well as more features, interviews, columnists and an updated design and we’re excited for it to be finally out there for all to read”.

GT’s redesigned November edition sees YouTube sensation, Joey Graceffa grace the cover and contains all new features and articles from the likes of politician Baron Waheed Alli, pop star Jaymi Hensley, renowned journalist Patrick Strudwick and TV star Charlie King. The new GT is also packed with interviews, including with superstar Grace Jones, Dr Who actor Mark Gatiss, RuPaul’s Drag Race’s Michelle Visage and girl group, Little Mix.

Simon Topham, GT’s CEO, commented: “GT is an iconic magazine that has been at the forefront of LGBT life, not just in the UK but around the world, for decades. This new look gives us the chance to celebrate where we have come from as well as look forward to a brand new chapter in our story. We hope our readers are excited as we are!”

GT serves the gay community with news, travel, style, features, big name interviews and more, helping to connect millions to the LGBT world every year. The magazine re-launches alongside its website www.gaytimes.co.uk and the digital magazine, available from http://gtdigi.co.uk/.

Ben Gardner, Commercial Director, added: “As the world’s number one gay title, GT has an unrivalled and highly engaged reader base – both online and in print. This rebrand has allowed us to focus our offering to not only gave readers more of what they want, but also provide our commercial partners with a content-rich and enhanced platform to reach this influential global audience.”

The magazine hosted a party in partnership with Infiniti to unveil its new look and celebrate more than three decades on magazine stands, in digital and online. For the event, GT went back to its roots by hosting the party in its old stomping ground of Camden, London, where the original magazine offices were located. Against the exotic back drop of Shaka Zulu restaurant, guests including Katie Price, Joe McElderry, Sam Callahan and Charlie Condou enjoyed bespoke cocktails from Stoli Vodka while DJ Phil Clifton from Radio X entertained on the decks.
